Faith Leaders and Organizations: Sign on to Affirm Support for Welcoming Vulnerable Families

From Church World Service (http://www.churchworldservice.org):

The administration is considering a proposal that would turn away families fleeing violence in Central America and block access to asylum, as the caravan of families fleeing violence, desperation, and persecution journey to find safety. Blocking vulnerable people fleeing violence and persecution from accessing protection is wrong. We must demand that our elected officials defend our values and stop the administration’s immoral, cruel and unnecessary proposal.

We are inviting faith leaders & faith-based organizations to sign on to a letter affirming the dignity of the sojourner and declaring welcome for vulnerable families and individuals seeking protection.
