From Faith in Public Life (http://www.faithinpubliclife.org):
We are compelled to cry out when any of God’s children are in danger.
There are many heartbreaking stories—one in particular of a 12-months-old baby crying for her mother at a shelter on the border. This baby was ripped away from her mother by Customs and Border Patrol agents enacting a new policy to take away all children from parents who arrive at our border seeking asylum. Parents and children running for their lives are being torn apart, imprisoned and subjected to unimaginable pain in our name. Please speak out about this horror at http://fpl.actionkit.com/sign/family-unity-women/.
Women from across our faith traditions have historically taken action: from Hagar fleeing with her son, to Esther intervening on behalf of her people, to Mary escaping with Jesus to protect him from Herod’s genocide. We must follow in the example of these brave women and cry out against the injustice of families being torn apart by our government.

And you think that tearing innocent children from their families is okay? This behavior is unconscionable and harkens back to Nazi Concentration camps. This does NOT bode well for American.
