From the Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center (http://www.pennbpc.org):
From February 15-22 we are asking people to contact their legislators in Harrisburg and asking them to raise the minimum wage.

My name is___________________ and I am writing with a concern about Pennsylvania’s abysmal minimum wage.
On January 1, 2021 twenty states raised their minimum wage, but Pennsylvania was not one of them. Every state that borders Pennsylvania has a higher minimum wage than Pennsylvania, making it economically necessary to raise our minimum wage from the abysmal federal level of $7.25 for non-tipped workers and $2.83 for tipped workers. A team of state legislators will soon introduce SB 12 to change that, and we hope that you will support their bill, which will raise the wage to $15 per hour as one fair wage by 2026.
As a constituent, I hope you will vote for a raise in the minimum wage.
Thanks for your time.
