From the Alaska Wilderness League (http://www.alaskawild.org):
Right now, polar bear cubs and their famished mothers in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge should be heading toward the coast in search of food after months of hibernation. This refuge is the most important land-denning site for America’s polar bears and vital to hundreds of thousands of caribou that sustain the Gwich’in people.
In his first days in office, President Biden took a critical first step in pausing all oil development activities from recently sold drilling leases. But legislative action is still needed to keep the Arctic Refuge safe. You can help!
The window to prevent drilling from moving forward is closing, and legislative action is needed to restore Arctic Refuge protections.
Go to https://secure.everyaction.com/OXibf-xw0UOE47pCr7dKTA2 to send a message to President Biden and Congress to quickly restore protections for the Arctic Refuge through legislative action.
Right now — with both the House and Senate in Democrat control — the Biden administration and Congress have the best opportunity to work together to legislatively restore protections for the Arctic Refuge. If the opportunity is missed, bureaucracy will make it easier for oil companies to gain a stronger foothold in their efforts to destroy this nursery to polar bears, caribou and millions of migratory birds. Your voice can prevent leases sold at bargain prices from ruining this special landscape forever.

Please protect the ANWR. We have so little habitat left.
