We’ve won many battles to protect the Affordable Care Act, but it’s at risk. Again.
A lawsuit – Texas v. Azar – is making its way through the courts that could overturn the entire Affordable Care Act, and arguments start TODAY!
If the ruling is upheld, it would be catastrophic. More than 20 million Americans would be at risk of losing their health coverage, Medicaid Expansion would end, and the laws that protect people with pre-existing conditions would be gone. It would impact our children, our grandparents, our small business owners, and our rural hospitals. And that’s just the beginning…
This is just one of many instances of sabotage of the Affordable Care Act by lawmakers in Congress and the Administration. It’s clear: we can’t rely on the federal government to protect our healthcare, so lawmakers in Harrisburg need to step in.
