From the Pennsylvania Health Access Network (http://www.pahealthaccess.org):
In the midst of a public health and economic crisis, prescription drug costs are continuing to rise.
Pennsylvania legislators should make addressing healthcare affordability one of their first actions in the new legislative session, and lowering prescription drug costs should be the first step.
Prescription drug costs create economic hardships for Pennsylvanians during a time where many people are already struggling with employment, illness, and housing. Yet, drug corporations have the ability to make prescription drugs as expensive as they want. We need our lawmakers to put a stop to this. Keeping prescription drug costs high during a global pandemic is inhumane; we need our medication to survive.

As always, thank you for taking action!
