From the Pennsylvania Health Access Network (http://www.pahealthaccess.org):
This past Valentine’s Day, we asked you to share your experience with high prescription drug costs so we could tell your State Senators.
The stories you told were devastating.
“Chronic illness is expensive! I’m unable to pursue outside consults and certain treatments because I’m struggling to afford my current regimen.”
What she pays per month: $3,472
“I am unable to comply with my doctors’ orders.”
What she pays per month: $200
“I can’t afford the $399 a month for insulin or the $900 for my insulin pump. I have to either buy food or go hungry. I can’t even buy the 2 things listed above, they take up almost all of my disability pay.”
What she pays per month: $2,300+
It’s time for our lawmakers to make a change. Will you call your State Senator today and let them know you need them to lower prescription drug costs?
Go to https://pahealth.salsalabs.org/lowerrxcosts/index.html to make a call.
Thank you for taking action!
