From the Pennsylvania Health Access Network (http://www.pahealthaccess.org):
1 in 2 Pennsylvanians are struggling with prescription drug prices, and 1 in 5 are cutting pills in half, leaving prescriptions at the pharmacy, or rationing drugs.
PA Senators are back in session, and it’s time they took action on high prescription drug prices!
There’s already a bill in the PA Senate – SB 579 – that would create a new entity to investigate high prescription drug prices and, ultimately, find ways to lower them, but it’s up to us to make sure it passes. That’s why we are calling on the PA Senate to hold a hearing on the bill this fall.
Will you make a call to your State Senator TODAY and ask them to hold a hearing on SB579 ? Every call makes a difference, even if you’ve called in the past. Use our online tool at https://pahealth.salsalabs.org/lowerrxcosts/index.html to make a call to your PA Senator.
As always, thank you for taking action!
P.S. If you haven’t already, make sure you’ve signed our petition to lower prescription drug prices!
