From Project H.O.M.E. (http://www.projecthome.org):
Evidence shows that work requirements do nothing to help people find or keep good jobs or reduce poverty. Your calls and emails about burdensome work requirements are having an impact in Harrisburg and the vote has been temporarily delayed. We need you to KEEP calling and emailing your PA Senator about PA House Bills 1659 and 2138. These bills would impose costly new or increased work requirements on individuals who rely on food or health assistance and could threaten those benefits by imposing lock-out periods. Implementing Medicaid work requirements is projected to cost over $700 million in start-up costs!
Keep up the pressure to stop work requirements and contact your PA Senator today at http://action.projecthome.org/p/dia/action4/common/public/?action_KEY=1070.
