PA Gov Wolf Vetoes Dangerous ‘Permitless Carry’ Gun Bill—Tell Your Legislators to Sustain the Veto

We predicted a couple of days ago that Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf would mercifully veto the gun lobby’s pet ‘permitless carry’ bill (SB 565) that was passed by both houses of the Legislature during the past few weeks.  As reported, he has done so. Tom Wolf vetoes bill allowing concealed carry of guns without permits – The Morning Call .  This bill, if enacted, would allow almost any legal gun possessor to carry a loaded and concealed handgun almost anywhere in public without having to obtain a permit to do so or complete training.

We urge all readers to take three easy steps to help make certain the Governor’s veto of this dangerous legislation is not overridden by the Legislature:  These steps will take less than five minutes to complete.  It is important that your voice is heard!

Step 1:  Find out who your State Senator and State Representative are, by going to Find Your Legislator – PA General Assembly.

Step 2:  Click on their names to find their phone numbers.

Step 3:  Call their offices and say that you support Governor Wolf’s veto of SB 565, the permitless carry bill, you wish your legislators to vote to sustain his veto and will take that vote into consideration in the next election.
