From Hunger-Free Pennsylvania (http://www.hungerfreepa.org/):
The Senate Health and Human Services Committee on Tuesday approved two bad measures that would impose “work requirements” on individuals who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program to buy food for their families (H.B. 1659) or Medical Assistance to access basic health care services (H.B. 2138). The bills now go to the full Senate. TAKE ACTION TODAY! Tell your senator to oppose H.B. 1659 and H.B. 2138.
