We have one week to stop anti-gun safety legislation from passing the Pennsylvania House.
Two anti-gun safety bills will be considered in the Judiciary Committee next week, and the gun lobby is already working hard to get them passed.
HB 659 would allow any Pennsylvanian to carry a concealed gun without a permit, putting both civilians and law enforcement at risk.
HB 979 would punish local officials who pass life-saving gun safety ordinances by requiring them to face lawsuits from anyone, and would then require taxpayers to potentially pay the plaintiff’s costs.
We can’t afford for either of these bills to pass. Tell your State Representative to vote NO on HB 659 and HB 979 at https://ceasefirepa.salsalabs.org/judiciarycommitteepermitlesscarrypreemptionmay2021/index.html.
