We are working with the clean cars campaign to encourage the EPA to move forward quickly with a strong proposed car rule for model years 2027 and beyond. We have a petition for faith leaders (clergy as well as other faith leaders such as leaders of faith organizations) to support this campaign.

The Biden administration and EPA finalized a good rule for cars and trucks, but that rule only goes up to model year 2026. We know they intend to draft a rule for light duty vehicles (cars, SUVs, and light trucks) for model years 2027 and beyond, but we need the EPA to develop this draft rule sooner than later. The longer it takes to finalize, the more opportunity there is for an unfriendly administration to undo the rule.
We are writing to ask all faith leaders to please read this petition and consider signing on. Also, please pass this along to other faith leaders in your network.
