Share How Build Back Better Would Help You Or Your Community

From Faith in Public Life (http://www.faithinpubliclife.org):

This past weekend, the House passed a massive bipartisan infrastructure bill, the Infrastructure Investment, and Jobs Act, and took a big step towards passing the Build Back Better Act with a promise to vote on it after Veterans Day weekend. The problem? That promise could be broken. We need to keep the pressure on Congress to make sure they vote on and pass the Build Back Better IMMEDIATELY after they get back from their short recess!

In the coming days and weeks, there will be a lot of debate around the policies, procedures, facts and figures of the bill. However, behind all the dollars and cents are our neighbors and families. That’s what they can’t forget. That’s why we need to hear your story.

How would the Build Back Better Act help you, your community or your congregation members? We’d love it if you could share pictures and videos to tell the world about how these policies affect real people at https://fpl.actionkit.com/sign/BBB_Stories!

We’ve spoken before about the historic and life-changing investments in the Build Back Better Act: from the largest ever federal expansion of child care and early childhood education, to investments in workers who provide home care for our seniors and people with disabilities, to badly needed Medicaid expansion and paid family leave. The plan also includes the biggest commitment to combating climate change in history and will put millions of families in stable affordable homes. It all gets paid for by ensuring the wealthiest few and largest corporations pay their fair share of taxes.

We are closer than ever before to the holy recovery we deserve. That’s why our members of Congress and the rest of the country need to hear from you. Tell us your story today!

Thanks for speaking out and sharing your story.
