From the Southwest Pennsylvania Environmental Health Project (https://www.environmentalhealthproject.org/):
As you may know, the Environmental Health Project has established the only national Shale Gas and Oil Health Effects Registry (https://www.environmentalhealthproject.org/health-effects-registry) for people living within 5 miles of hydraulic fracturing and other shale-related facilities (like compressor stations, processing plants, and injection wells).
The first 100 participants of the Registry come from 11 states: Colorado, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Dakota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia.
Check out our newsletter on the registry and consider joining, if you haven’t already.
