Say No to Seismic Exploration in the Arctic Refuge

From the Alaska Wilderness League (http://www.alaskawild.org):

This year, a company called SAExploration could be surveying for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Massive trucks would crawl across the tundra, sending shockwaves into the ground right in prime polar bear denning territory.

Even if SAExploration vehicles do not crush mother polar bears and their cubs in their dens, the seismic disturbances could easily cause mother bears to flee, leaving their cubs to perish alone.

Go to https://act.alaskawild.org/sign/SAE_sayno to take action to tell SAExploration: Stay out of the Arctic Refuge!

It’s usually the big oil companies that make front-page news, so as a smaller company, SAExploration is not expecting negative attention from activists like us. However, if SAExploration moves forward, it will cause permanent damage across 1.6 million acres of America’s last great wilderness, and key habitat for polar bears and the Porcupine Caribou Herd.

Show SAExploration that it will face massive backlash if it moves forward with seismic testing. It will be infamous for harming threatened polar bears, undermining the human rights of the Gwich’in people and helping to destroy our country’s last great wilderness.

Send a clear message to SAExploration to stay out of the Arctic Refuge!
