From Fair Vote (http://www.fairvote.org/):
After tireless efforts by folks on the ground in Maine to uphold the will of the people, the Maine legislature dropped its effort to repeal ranked choice voting for state and non-presidential federal elections on Wednesday. This is a critical win for advocates of ranked choice voting in Maine and supporters around the country. As Dick Woodbury, chair of the Committee for Ranked Choice Voting stated, “It’s time to move forward with implementation.” We agree, and look forward to being supportive of implementation efforts as Maine’s 2018 elections approach.
