Campaign Manager for Watershed Advocacy – Harrisburg area
The campaign manager will lead high impact campaigns around water issues affecting Pennsylvania’s environment and communities in the Susquehanna River watershed. The Campaign Manager will develop and lead bold, sophisticated, and integrated campaigns that generate citizen action to create and improve policies that protect Pennsylvania’s local waters and public health.
Clean Energy PA Program Manager – Pittsburgh area
PennFuture’s Clean Energy Pennsylvania is a program designed to accelerate the use of renewable energy and energy efficiencies at the community level throughout Pennsylvania. The program is being developed and piloted in Pittsburgh, and leverages the hunger of communities to self-determine a clean energy future.
Four different Green in 18 Campaign positions
PennFuture’s “Green in 18” campaign will increase the visibility of environmental issues in the 2018 state elections. The key mission of the campaign will be to harness and highlight the significant public support that exists for these vital issues and to ensure that candidates for the office of Governor of Pennsylvania can clearly see that support.
A legal internship with PennFuture offers a unique opportunity to use advocacy skills to make a difference at the grassroots and programmatic levels, watchdog skills to ensure government decisions are made only after effective public participation and in compliance with the law, and litigation skills to protect the environment and compel compliance with the law.
