From Pennsylvania Interfaith Power and Light (http://www.paipl.org):
Young people are at the forefront of innovative solutions in environmental conservation, education, and advocacy – and we want to be leaders in supporting their voices.
Thanks to the support of people like you, we are able to do just that. Our 2022 Fellow program helped support the work of our climate voter and climate action campaigns while also forming young professionals in the interfaith environment space. Hailey Brundage shares,
“During my time as a fellow with Pennsylvania Interfaith Power & Light, I have experienced immense support. It has been an uplifting experience that has given me lifelong skills. I have also learned what it means to be a team and that no one is left to be by themselves. Being a fellow at PAIPL has allowed me to find even more personal interests and has led me to finding my dream career path.”
The PA IPL Fellow program is designed for undergraduate students looking for learning opportunities in the following areas: environment education, conservation, and advocacy; interfaith organizing; and nonprofit skills. The program offers a competitive hourly wage with a flexible schedule.
In 2023, we are expanding the Fellow program. Fellows will participate in mentoring, professional development opportunities, and monthly peer calls. Focus tracks will be offered within the program including environmental education, interfaith organizing, fundraising, and communications. We are looking for candidates with a willingness to prioritize environmental justice, climate advocacy, and intersectional policy. The program is split into two cohorts: Spring and Fall, with alternative summer opportunities available.
If you know someone who might be interested in this program, please consider sharing this opportunity with them! Applications for Spring will remain open until January 20th.
