From Interfaith Power and Light (http://interfaithpowerandlight.org):
On Friday, October 21, Before the Flood, a film by Academy Award winners Leonardo DiCaprio and Fisher Stevens, will be released in theaters from New York to Los Angeles.
The film follows Leonardo DiCaprio as he travels to five continents meeting people whose lives have been devastated by global warming and learns how we already have the capacity to solve this crisis.
Thanks to National Geographic Education Foundation, IPL is excited to offer a film screening kit for Before the Flood to your congregation for FREE to the first 500 sign-ups.

This inspiring film not only underscores the urgency of acting on climate, it shows that there is hope for our world and our future. Screening this film at your house of worship is a great way to spark conversation about global warming and mobilize your congregation into action.
We have now had three presidential debates with zero questions about climate change, even though 2016 is on track to be the warmest year in history. We must get this issue into the public discourse. It is more important than ever that people of faith understand what’s at stake, and what they can do. This film covers not only problems, but also the solutions to the climate crisis.
Thank you for your leadership and dedication to preserving a safe and livable planet.
