Early this week, the PA Senate unfortunately passed SB 1330, the special standing/sue our cities bill. The vote was 30-19, which is not, as the NRA had been predicting, veto-proof. Next, the bill moved to the House of Representatives, but the House failed to take any action to move the bill forward. Now, they’ve all gone home for the week.
So, what’s next? There are three session days scheduled for next week, and we expect the House to try to move the bill, but we don’t know for sure what they’ll do. So, it’s time once again to tell your Representative how you feel about this dangerous bill and ask them to Vote No and stand up for our cities at http://org2.salsalabs.com/o/5610/c/1537/p/dia/action3/common/public/?action_KEY=23734.
