From the Campaign for America’s Future (http://www.ourfuture.org/):
Calling for a “complete transformation of our healthcare system,” Rep. Pramila Jayapal officially introduced Medicare-for-All legislation yesterday that experts have described as the most “comprehensive, battle-ready single-payer plan to be released in Congress.” The bill – drafted with the help of nurses, doctors, disability rights activists, advocates for the elderly, and public interest organizations – would give every person in this country access to Medicare, and also cover dental, vision, hearing, and more. According to Rep Jayapal, “it’s a blueprint for a more humane, affordable health care system that would leave absolutely no one behind.”
