From Families USA (http://www.familiesusa.org):
We are excited to announce Families USA’s launch of a new national coalition to hold policymakers accountable for addressing high and rising drug prices. The Coalition for Fair Drug Prices includes leading health care consumer, labor, and provider organizations who have joined together to urge meaningful reforms to address our nation’s prescription drug cost crisis.

8 out of 10 adults say prescription drug costs are unreasonable. 3 in 10 people say they have not taken their medicine as prescribed due to costs, or have reported skipping doses, cutting pills in half, substituting with over-the-counter drugs, or not filling a prescription in the past year. People who depend on lifesaving medications are at the mercy of pharmaceutical companies who charge outrageous prices for critical drugs.
The Coalition for Fair Drug Prices is fighting back against egregious pharmaceutical company abuses and holding policymakers accountable for enacting the real prescription drug reforms that people across America want and deserve. The Coalition has released a statement of principles that articulates a common vision for prescription drug policy. And we will hold Congress accountable to these principles.
