From GreenFaith (http://greenfaith.org):
When our diverse faith communities deliver a clear message through our teachings and rituals, nothing can stop us.

That’s why between 17 March and 6 May – the Sacred Season for Climate Justice – religious and spiritual communities globally will call for an end to fossil fuel and deforestation projects and a rapid and just transition to a sustainable future.
Through spoken messages and sacred rituals, we’ll deepen our commitment so that we are beautifully clear about who we are and why we go into action.
Ready to get started? There are many ways you can participate in Sacred Season for Climate Justice:
Invite your local faith institution to collaborate with us.
Submit to the Sacred Season Collection.
Rituals, prayers, sermons, songs, poems, artworks, dharma talks, and anything else that people of faith can use for their holidays or holy days.
Each submission should boldly call for the end of new fossil fuel extraction, the phase out of current fossil fuels, and/or support a just climate transition, rooted in clear faith language.
Resources submitted will be available starting March 1.
Host a faith-rooted event in your area (Instructions for registering your event here).
Our solidarity is sacred and enriching.
It’s so exciting to be part of this global community together.
P.S. Ready for action? Join the Multi-Faith Climate Finance Campaign Launch on 24 February.
