From the Alaska Wilderness League (http://www.alaskawild.org):
This month’s historic marches all over the country showed our government that we are not going to stand quietly by as they move their corporate agenda. And, a new poll recently showed that the majority of U.S. citizens oppose drilling in the Refuge, even among Trump voters.
We need to take that momentum to Congress and make our voices heard loud and clear! Help keep the Refuge safe by building support for the Arctic Refuge Wilderness bill at http://act.alaskawild.org/sign/2017Refuge_cos. Refuge champions in Congress will introduce the bill soon. Please sign the petition to get your senators to be some of the first bill co-sponsors.
This week, we’ve been delivering your comments to key Senate offices to vote “NO” on Senators Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan’s Arctic Refuge drilling bill, or any other bill that includes Refuge drilling.
This is a critical first step. Your comments help kick-start many great conversations on the Hill about this special nursery for polar bears, caribou and America’s migratory birds.
But we need to press for more.
