Job Summary
This full time position requires the employee to assist clients of the Unemployment Information Center. Worker will greet housing clients and unemployed workers. S/he will assist with the completion of the housing intake forms and gather all necessary information for the housing counselor and input client information into the client management system accurately. Assist with appointment scheduling and maintenance of housing counseling calendar. Also, s/he will assist the Job Developer with employment activities and the Commuter Options program. The position will include training as a housing counselor.
Qualifications: Committed to economic justice. Good people skills. Experience in housing counseling or community organizing would be ideal but not necessary. BA preferred.
