From Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children (http://www.papartnerships.org):
As legislative leaders in Washington, D.C. continue to debate the merits of another round of stimulus funding due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the HEROES Act passed by the U.S. House several weeks ago includes $100 million in emergency funding for evidence-based home visiting programs. We need your help to contact Senators Casey and Toomey to make sure that this critical funding is included in any stimulus package that is considered by the Senate. It is important to note that in Pennsylvania home visitors have continued to provide services to families virtually during the pandemic – and some of the models have already spent resources to give technology to families to ensure that they can continue helping families.
Contact our U.S. Senators TODAY at https://papartnerships.salsalabs.org/prioritizemiechvfundingandflexibility/index.html to ask them for their support of home visiting funding as part of the next stimulus package.
