When we travel alone in our cars, we aren’t just adding to traffic congestion; we are also harming the environment.

Tens of millions of Americans drive to work each day because they lack access to reliable public transportation. Even in large cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, or the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the public transportation options may take so long or be so frustrating, that commuters just find it easier to hop in their car. This is unsustainable.

All communities, large and small, urban and rural, deserve access to public transportation options that can reliably get us from point A to point B and help reduce our impact on the environment.

• Support sustainable and regenerative agriculture: Reward farmers for long-term emissions reductions and sustainable farming practices.

These common-sense solutions are supported by liberals and conservatives alike to help build healthier communities, green jobs, safer homes, and a clean energy future for all.
