From Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children (http://www.papartnerships.org):
Negotiations are underway on a state budget for the upcoming fiscal year and legislators need to hear from you about the need to invest more in evidence-based home visiting programs.
Governor Wolf has proposed evidence-based home visiting funding be increased by $9 million in 2017-18 so an additional 1,700 families can benefit from these critical programs.
We know evidence-based home visiting is an investment that pays off. Evidence-based home visiting has been shown to increase school readiness, improve maternal and child health, reduce child abuse and neglect and promote greater economic self-sufficiency amongst participating families. Simply put, it’s an investment that works and we need to increase it.

Thank you for helping us speak up for Pennsylvania’s vulnerable children and families.
