From the Coalition on Human Needs (http://www.chn.org):
The COVID pandemic laid bare the ways our country has failed to support opportunities and provide protections for all. Racial disparities in deaths and economic devastation stand as an undeniable testament to persistent and historic racial discrimination, structural inequities in access to health care, narrow work opportunities, and housing disparities experienced by people of color and women.
Our nation’s progress depends on equal rights and opportunities for all.

If you don’t belong to or represent an organization or business: We also need tens of thousands of people to sign-on in support of our individual pledge here.
As a reminder, here are the four principles of SAVE for All:
- Protect and Empower People with Low Incomes
- Promote Job Creation and Strengthen the Green Economy
- Require the Wealthy and Corporations to Pay Their Fair Share of Taxes
- Cut Wasteful Spending in the Pentagon and Elsewhere
We have a once-in-a-generation chance for Congress to pass a transformational economic recovery package that invests in our future and advances our shared priorities. And we can make these critical changes by finally making the rich and corporations pay their fair share in taxes.
How does signing the SAVE for All statement help?
Strengthening America’s Values and Economy (SAVE) for All brings together over a thousand national, state, and local organizations working to protect against harmful federal budget cuts and to support economic recovery and progress for all. The signers of the SAVE for All statement include advocacy and policy groups, service providers, faith-based organizations, labor, civil rights groups, local businesses, and community organizations. Some signer groups volunteer to tell their members of Congress to support key legislation or funding consistent with the SAVE for All statement. This is especially important today, when historic proposals to reduce child poverty and hunger, increase jobs and income, expand health coverage and reduce racial disparities are before Congress. Large numbers of groups in each state signing the statement show Congress there is wide support for these actions.
We sincerely hope you will join us again! Use this form to sign on. See the updated 2021 statement of principles here.
