Gun sales have surged to unprecedented levels throughout the pandemic, while gun violence continues to ravage our communities. To make matters worse, a loophole in our gun safety laws — called the Charleston loophole — allows gun sales without a completed background check, enabling criminals and domestic abusers to purchase guns. We need action to keep our communities safe!

In 2020, America voted for Gun Sense Majorities in both chambers of Congress and a Gun Sense Champion in the White House, and earlier this year the House passed bipartisan legislation to close the Charleston loophole.
