Knowledge is power! Whether you’re heading on a Capitol Caravan to meet with legislators or talking to your next-door-neighbor about your child’s preschool experience, we want to be sure you’re armed with the latest data.
Earlier this year, Pre-K for PA’s partner organization Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children released a mapping tool to help you look up local data by school district, House and Senate districts. We’ve now taken it one step further.
Through the Pre-K for PA website, you can input your address to immediately view and download fact sheets for both your House and Senate legislative district at http://www.prekforpa.org/find-your-legislator/. Statistics on number of preschool aged children, those eligible for publicly funded pre-k, those served, the unmet need, and the current number of high-quality pre-k providers in your area are at your fingertips.
