From the Food Research and Action Center (http://www.frac.org):
The outrageously bad House Farm Bill is set to go to a vote tomorrow. Some Members of Congress are still undecided and the fate of the farm bill remains in flux – which means anti-hunger advocates need to pick up the phone now. Urge your Members to vote “No” on H.R. 2 and three troubling SNAP amendments (below) that are currently being debated. Votes on the amendments are likely to occur this evening, with the final vote on the farm bill tomorrow.
Call the Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121 TONIGHT and ask for your Representative—or call directly. You can find contact information at http://www.house.gov.
