From the Pennsylvania Health Access Network (http://www.pahealthaccess.org):
Recently, we held an event with Sen. Dan Laughlin and Sen. Sharif Street, who have recently introduced a new bipartisan bill aimed at lowering prescription drug costs.
If passed, SB 579 would create a new review board to investigate the high cost of prescription drugs. Once the review board has determined what makes drug costs so high and how it’s affecting Pennsylvanians, they will make recommendations on how to lower prescription drug costs.
This is a great start, but lawmakers still need to hear from you to pass this bill!
