Please join Church World Service, as a member of Refugee Council USA (RCUSA), for a special 2022 Virtual Refugee Advocacy Days from Monday, May 9th to Friday, May 13th, 2022. The virtual advocacy week will occur at an inflection point for the U.S. refugee resettlement program and we need your help in championing pro-refugee legislation, federal funding for the resettlement program, and oversight over the administration’s rebuilding of the program.
Join Us! We invite refugee and immigrants’ rights partners, former refugees, new Americans, resettlement staff, faith leaders and people of faith, and individuals who support refugees to consider participating.
Participants will not only have the opportunity to meet virtually with their members of Congress, but will also be able to attend a number of special training sessions to help build and expand their advocacy toolbelt. Refugee and asylee leaders will have additional leadership training opportunities in the lead up to the Advocacy Days kick off.
