The 2017 Commonwealth Interfaith Service: Prayers for Justice and Peace took place on Monday, May 8 at the Hadee Mosque in Harrisburg. The service, attended by approximately 200, included welcoming comments from Mayor Eric Papenfuse, a three-part Call to Worship/Prayer and three part benediction by the three Abrahamic traditions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam), opening the altar by the Buddhists, sacred dance, music, and drumming. To see all participants and the traditions represented, see the program here.
