Support the Cluster Munitions Civilian Protection Act

The Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) U.S. is using a postcard campaign to support the Cluster Munitions Civilian Protection Act (S416 at http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s111-416 /HR 981 at http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-981), legislation that would greatly restrict the use of cluster bombs by the United States. For information on this campaign, new DVD clips, news stories and the MCC cluster bomb photo exhibit, visit mcc.org/clusterbombs.

MCC is urging Pennsylvania residents to send the post cards to Senator Specter. Senator Bob Casey is already a co-sponsor of the new legislation. If you have questions about the campaign, please contact Titus Peachey, Director of Peace Education at MCC U.S., e-mail tmp@mcc.org, telephone (717) 859-1151.
