Priority Issues

The Council has adopted the following top two priorities for the 2009-2010 legislative session:

· Human Needs, which includes housing, food, energy, and health care—those things needed to create a decent life

· Public Education, seeking comprehensive, fair, adequate, and cost effective public education for all children and youth
