The Food Research Action Center (http://www.frac.org) reports that the House-approved Jobs for Main Street Act (amendment to H.R. 2847) would redirect $75 billion in Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) savings to fund infrastructure and job investments to further stabilize jobs and provide additional emergency funding to help hard-hit families. The Senate has not yet acted on the bill. For a bill summary, go to http://appropriations.house.gov/pdf/Jobs_for_Main_Street_Act_of_2010_Summary.pdf.
