Multireligious Service for the Earth and Its People (part of Stop the Frack Attack)—July 28, Washington, DC

From The Shalom Center (http://shalomctr.org):

Saturday, July 28, 1:30 pm, west side of U.S. Capitol, as part of the Stop the Frack Attack demonstration.

Join us on July 28 as we participate with thousands of people from around the country in a call to change the way the oil and gas industry operates in this country, to end drilling that harms public health, water and air, and for a clean, fossil fuel free energy future.

The Shalom Center and Interfaith Moral Action on Climate, working with stopthefrackattack.org, are organizing a multi-religious service at 1:30 pm just before the main 2 pm rally. Participants will include Rabbi Arthur Waskow, Rev. Bob Edgar, Rev. Richard Cizik and others.

Join us as, together, we pray, speak, sing and call for transformative change that can heal our deeply wounded Earth and move us toward a worldwide “beloved community, ” as called for by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
